Project Manager Cell Manufacturing position available

STEM CELL PROCESS MANUFACTURING AND PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT

ReNeuron is a leading, clinical-stage stem cell business.  ReNeuron is applying its novel stem cell platform technologies in the development of groundbreaking stem cell therapies to serve significant and unmet or poorly met clinical needs. ReNeuron has received approval from the UK Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) and is about to commence a first-in-man clinical trial of its lead neural stem cell line, ReN001, for the treatment of patients who have been left disabled by an ischaemic stroke.  Further projects are ongoing at ReNeuron to optimize the manufacture of stem cells for clinical application in addition to the development of stem cell based treatments for other indications.

In support of ReNeuron’s clinical development programmes applications are invited for a Project Manager in Cell Manufacturing. The position will involve developing cell manufacturing processes and working with GMP manufacturing and cell bank release testing contractors to deliver cell therapy products for distribution and use in clinical trials.

The successful candidates should hold a PhD or equivalent and have extensive tissue culture experience, preferably in a pharma/biotech or CMO setting, and knowledge of GMP/GLP. The post holder will be highly motivated, have excellent interpersonal skills, an eye for detail and demonstrate a thorough approach to Quality Assurance.
