Business strategy

We have developed a broad commercial development strategy that exploits ReNeuron's competitive advantages. The strategy is designed to optimise exploitation of ReNeuron's technology assets to:

  • Provide safe and effective stem cell therapy treatments for patients at the earliest possible opportunity
  • Provide further funding opportunities for the Company's ongoing development programmes
  • Build shareholder value whilst reducing business risk.
We intend to take our stem cell lines into clinical development in therapeutic areas where our technology has the greatest chance of delivering clinical benefit.

Visit our Programmes page to find out more about ReNeuron's cell therapy programmes.

Where appropriate, we will adopt a risk-sharing approach by out-licensing our cell therapy programmes to commercial development partners at clinical proof-of-concept. A commercial development partner would fund late stage clinical trials for the programme concerned and market the eventual approved cell therapy treatment. In exchange, ReNeuron would envisage receiving up-front and milestone payments through to product approval, and royalties on sales of the treatment.

We intend to derive early revenue streams from licensing our ReNcellTM lines in non-therapeutic applications. , and by licensing our c-mycERTAM cell expansion platform to other cell therapy organisations.

We believe that the following unique attributes will enable ReNeuron to successfully execute the above business strategy:
  • A leading technology position in the stem cell field
  • Experienced technical and management teams, focused on realising the commercial and clinical potential of ReNeuron's technologies
  • Technology with the best chance of addressing regulatory requirements
  • Extensive patent coverage
  • A broadly-based, conservative development plan.
